We strive for accuracy in every article. When we get something wrong, we fix it — and we’re transparent about what changed.
How to Report an Error
If you find an error in any NatureWeatherHub article:
- Email corrections@natureweatherhub.com with the article URL
- Describe what you believe is incorrect and provide your source for the correct information
- We will investigate and respond within 48 hours
Correction Types
Minor corrections (typos, formatting, broken links): Fixed silently.
Significant corrections (factual errors, wrong dates/numbers, misattributed sources): Corrected in the article body, with a note added at the bottom of the article:
Correction [Date]: This article previously stated [original claim]. It has been corrected to [corrected claim]. Source: [link or reference].
Retractions: In rare cases where an article is fundamentally wrong, it will be retracted rather than corrected. A notice will replace the article content explaining why it was retracted.
What We Do Not Correct
- Forecast changes: Weather forecasts are inherently uncertain. Updated forecasts supersede earlier ones — we do not issue corrections for forecast changes.
- Scientific updates: New research may change understanding of a topic. We update articles to reflect new science, but we do not label this as a correction.
Our Commitment
We keep a log of all significant corrections. If you report an error and we confirm it, you will receive a reply acknowledging the correction within 48 hours. We appreciate readers who help us maintain accuracy.
